HERB
CULTIVATION

Herbs are an asset to any garden, whether it be ornamental, edible or both.  Most are not only adept at surviving, but will improve the health of nearby plants (companion planting).  One way herbs can affect other plants is by breaking up the soil and bringing nutrients to the surface.  Another way is by accumulating and releasing special compounds.  Finally, many herbs will repel specific pests while attracting beneficials; plants that attract specific pests can be used at traps to lure pests from edibles.

Below you will find some useful information gathered from our library.
